Red Onion & Black Pepper Spread

Another of those recipes that I found on an old piece of paper. I’ve tried it and it was delicious, that’s why I kept it. When I make it again, I’ll add pictures and more details.


  • 1  package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1 clove garlic, pan toasted and chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarsley ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley


  1. Mix well all ingredients
  2. Shape into 6-inch log, wrap tightly in plastic
  3. Refrigerate 30 minutes
  4. Serve on Ritz crackers
