Peanut Honey Spread

There’s not enough words to tell you how well this recipe has been accepted at my house. It doesn’t last long so canning it doesn’t seem to be worth the effort. However, it can be canned as well. As always, use caution when following any recipe for canning something that doesn’t come from the “leading experts.” We’ve kept it in the fridge since canning it and, since it’s not going to last long, I’m not terribly worried. It’s great as a lunchtime meal – fresh bread with peanut honey spread.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey

Preparation:

  1. Mix well
  2. Chill
