Again with the testing of different recipes for Thanksgiving this year. This one was used in place of cool whip at our table. I will caution – it still tastes amazing, even when a child turns off the fridge and it doesn’t set as well as it should before eating pumpkin pie.
- 2 cups chilled Whipping Cream
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- Prepare cold fridge
- In chilled bowl, beat cream until soft (this will never happen if you mistakenly add the ginger before beating it)
- Mix in ginger and honey
- Chill 1-2 hours before serving on pumpkin pie or other delicious desert
