Honey-Ginger Cream for Pumpkin Pie

Again with the testing of different recipes for Thanksgiving this year. This one was used in place of cool whip at our table. I will caution – it still tastes amazing, even when a child turns off the fridge and it doesn’t set as well as it should before eating pumpkin pie.


  • 2 cups chilled Whipping Cream
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 tsp ginger


  1. Prepare cold fridge
  2. In chilled bowl, beat cream until soft (this will never happen if you mistakenly add the ginger before beating it)
  3. Mix in ginger and honey
  4. Chill 1-2 hours before serving on pumpkin pie or other delicious desert
