If I don’t have the prepackaged gravy for Biscuits and Gravy, I use this recipe I found.
- 2 tbs Corn Starch
- 2 tbs fat drippings
- 2 cups broth or water
- 1/4 cup cold water (milk for creamier taste)
- salt and/or pepper to taste
- Heat drippings and broth on medium heat
- Mix cornstarch and water, add to fat and broth
- Stirring constantly, simmer for one minute
- Add sausage or turkey crumbles and serve over biscuits.
