I’m writing this post on Thursday night. I’ll be out of town this weekend and I am expecting ex #1 to deliver a blanket I made to his sister, who is coming up with their mother on Saturday morning. I’m hoping she’ll bring her baby – but that’s a no-brainer, eh? Anyway, I’ll tell this to post on Saturday night for y’all to see – after she gets her blanket.
Here it is:
The blanket was made with the Log Cabin pattern. Slightly modified, of course. It suit my needs, that way. I messed up pretty good on the binding, but that’s par for the course.
The quilter outlined the Alphabet and the numbers. I’m hoping the bold pastels, the pictures and the numbers/alphabet will engage the baby and she’ll enjoy it.
If you look carefully, there’s two sets of crosses. One in white, one in color.
It makes the back look really neat – another feature to engage the baby.
Well, even with my mistakes and flaws, the blanket was thought out and pieced with great deliberation. Engage the tiny brain at the beginning of life and keep it going, forever.
I’m hoping the baby and the mommy enjoy it for years to come.
Thank you for listening,
Naia.
They will love it, the back looks tactile and calming, the front is just perfect 🙂
Thank you very much! 🙂
Naia.
How cute is that!!!!
