Winterfest

All I need now is the backing for this one…

I’ve taken to calling it, “Winterfest.” It’s not really a Christmas quilt so much as it is a winter quilt. It’s made by the pattern of “Turning Twenty.”

A 5.5″ green show border to finish it off. Unfortunately, it’s not quite long enough for the queen size bed  – even though the pattern was followed to the last letter and it is for a queen sized bed. I think I’ll leave it like this and use it all winter.

What else have I been up to? Well, this morning, I made a delicious sausage and cheese quiche for breakfast. It only takes 35 minutes to cook, so when I am diligent to get up at 6:30, the boys have plenty of time to eat before school.

Other than that, it’s been pretty boring around here. Right now, Caiden is with the Nanny and Brendan, practicing his bike riding so he can do amazingly for his daddy (he gets back on Wednesday). Hope y’all are having a great week, so far!

Thank you for listening,

Naia.
