“Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up.”
I found these in a cookbook and tried them this morning. Despite not realizing there are *two* settings to set the oven to broil, I think they turned out very good! I even got my coffee into the cup this morning instead of all over the counter.
Ingredients, in order of placement in the ramekin:
- 1 slice ham
- couple teaspoons of salsa
- 1 egg
- cheese on top (I used a Colby/Monterey Jack shredded mix)
Broil it for, o’maybe 4-5 minutes. Really hot ramekins! Don’t touch the burner on the top of the oven with your hot pad, either. It burns really easily!
I’m not entirely sure the boys “loved” it; I did get them to eat it, however. I feel rather full this morning – so only ate one but it was good! I haven’t the foggiest on what I am going to make tomorrow. Maybe I’ll keep it rather simple and easy. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you for listening,
